Not sure what you're trying to say, but it sounds like you're claiming that the Romans didn't use chain mail, which couldn't be more dead wrong. The lorica hamata was the chain "shirt" that the Romans used, typically for their secondary troops, and it has a very long and ancient history, dating to before the Romans -- the Etruscans used something similar and the pre- and early historic Celts were masters of the art of putting chainmail together.Darth K'Trava said:And the History Channel got stupid one night when they were doing something on the Romans and the "armor" they were wearing was made out of CHAINMAIL(!)
