I actually had the Draconomicon and The Complete Warrior as a Share the Love offer, but had been sitting on it for a few weeks.

With that, I got both books for $25.08 (actually, I had to find and add a $1 item to get the free shipping). And I had a $25 gift certificate to Amazon, so it's only 8 cents off my credit card.

No complainin' here.

Okay, I officially feel dirty. For the first time ever, I bought game books at Amazon instead of my FLGS.

Ditto... but there are some prices I just can't pass up. I got Complete Warrior, the d20 Modern Menace Manual, Horizon: Grimm and the Artificier's Handbook for just over $50! Dangit...

If these were the regular prices, I would definitely have four times the books I have... nowadays I don't want buy a D&D book unless I know beforehand I am going to like it and use it a lot.

Per what TalonComics said, they're selling off overstock. So, no, it's not a regular thing. It's just something to take advantage of. As Amazon figures out the RPG industry, these will become less and less common.

yeah and hopefully they still have their 30 % off most stuff. Which seems to be their norm for anything over a certain price but I waited till they got Dawnforge in stock before ordering it only to find out they had no discount when they got it in stock.

So now I preorder from them.

I purchased the Draconomicon about 2 weeks ago, and it was only 30% off, so I doubt these are the regular prices. Plus, the book industry wouldn't stand for these to be regular prices. Other companies (ie. B&N, Boarders, etc) would be all over the publisher if they allowed Amazon to set the regular prices that low. Books are sold to retailers at a 40-48% discount, so unless Amazon likes losing money, I'd assume that they stocked up on these books before the holiday and now they are trying to get rid of their overstock.
