Per what TalonComics said, they're selling off overstock. So, no, it's not a regular thing. It's just something to take advantage of. As Amazon figures out the RPG industry, these will become less and less common.

What's going on with Talon Comics? How's he doing?? His website hasn't been updated in a LONG while.

I may feel bad about ordering online instead of my FLGS but 60% off! and even more if you'll share the love on the Mini's and Menace manual (p p p pplease!!!!)

Picked up the Draconomican and Complete Warrior. Also several boxes of the Mini's Starter Kit. Heck cant beat 16 mini's for $8 when its normally $9 around here for a box of eight.

I am suspecting that this is a short term sale. Most likely some over stock that they want to rid of some inventory.

So I too jumped yesterday and got a whole slew of books. 5 Hardback for $110 US including next day delivery. Not bad.

As for supporting your FLGS, I don't see them as a place to get the big name books. I see them as the place to get my smaller publisers, a chance to browse, and to use their gaming room.

Now if they only serverd coffee , but unlikely since there is a starbucks a few doors down.

You’re all welcome if I had known the sale was going to this long I would have done some share the love on it:

Sad thing for me is that I got the Complete Warrior and Races of the Faerûn first and then I saw the prices on The Draconomicon.

Oh well it ended up being an excuse to pick up the GR's Noble's Handbook.

FYI: My Draconomicon is shipping separately from my Noble's Handbook so I suspect that amazon will be shipping the Draconomicon from only one location and it will more than likely be a different place for most of us.

I think they are seriously reducing the number of their D&D and d20 stuff. At least, the list you get when you search for "d20" went down to about one third from a month ago.
Additionally, I suspect amazon has some serious money problems at the moment. There are several indicators .

As far as the sale goes, I already had Draconomicon and the Complete Warrior. This means, I unfortunately had to pass this offer up. Which is the more annoying, because I got those books only 2 days ago, because Fedex insisted on delivering my stuff to the same address in the neighbouring town .

Their just really not that well organized if you search by the book title and deal with the 1000 plus returns I've always managed to find the book I'm looking for.
