Do we need to address the CR 4 elephant in theNo. Because their CR is too high for the Appendix in the PHB.
...Meanwhile I'm over here thinking the new wyrmlings are some of the cutest D&D creatures I've ever seen.I thought it was funny that they basically said “Chromatic Dragon Wyrmlings were too cute and players didn’t want to kill them.” Which is accurate in my experience.
Because if not there, then in the Dungeon thread. Why is this in the dragon discussion?
Because there are too many different threads all talking about the new reveals, and it's hard to keep track of them all!Why is this in the dragon discussion?
I noticed that, and I'm glad to see it!!Because there are too many different threads all talking about the new reveals, and it's hard to keep track of them all!
On the topic of the dragon video specifically, I like the Jeremy pronounced "geas" properly as "gesh".
The PC rules aren't always going to be the same as the NPC/Monster rules. In the very same book that had Goblins, Hobgoblins and Bugbears PCs as Humanoids with the Fey Ancestry trait, they had Hobgoblins as monsters/NPCs who were actually Fey.But Dragonborn aren't.
This BTW creates a weird dynamic were Dragonborn are humanoids, but Kobolds are dragons, Gobiniods are Fey, but Elves aren't (with the exception of SOME monsterous Eladrin), and Gnolls are fiends, but Tieflings aren't (which also causes a massive lore issues in settings like Nentir Vale, Forgotten Realms, Eberron).
I'm loving the new wyrmling art, but I wouldn't call them all cute (though the red is pretty cute)!...Meanwhile I'm over here thinking the new wyrmlings are some of the cutest D&D creatures I've ever seen.
