The Ebon Mirror: Dark Marks (Dunamin judging)

"Not a very bright idea to try and stop us from crossing was it." replies Callen. "Those gloves look interesting, I wonder what effect they'd have when calling the runes.".

[sblock=ooc]Ooh I like the gloves. Defeating 10 resistance of any type is awesome. Callen can heal, but only 1/day and doesnt get any boost; being a multiclass cleric isnt the greatest yet. The chain mail would do absolutely nothing for him.[/sblock]

OOC: Armor to Kama'zer, glovers to Callen then? First L4W magic items!

"I am amazed my friends! A stunning performance, we truly do have a chance against the Branders, forgive me but I had been harboring some doubts. Would that I could have lent my bow to your efforts, but..." Tyrion looks down at his ruined arm woefully.

"In any case we need to leave the roads shortly and cut through the forest, I understand it is treacherous and that at times the trees shift imbued with some of the magic that seeps from the Feywild - that was once my home. We shall all have to keep our guard, though I suggest we find a place to rest for the night before entering the trees."

He has been staring off to the faintly visible treeline in the distance, but turns back to the party and asks,

"Should we set up camp here near the road, or move closer to the forest?"

Ts'iri shrugged. "I'm afraid I don't know much woodcraft myself. I'll let that choice up to my companions Tyrion." She looked to see what they thought.

"Tactically speaking, our camp should be at a middle point between the road and the woods so that we can see and react to any threat from either direction without it being on top of us before we are ready." Kama'zer advises while trying on the chainmail for size. A bit baggy on her skinny frame, but she can strap it down tighter to keep it in place. Too bad it'll slow her down some. Unsheathing her scimitar, she takes a few practice swings with it to see how much the armor restricts her movements...

When the armor is cleaned off it gleams a beautful burnished copper that catches the light and surrounds Kama'zer in a warm aura of orange light.

Closer examination of the gloves reveal a styalized black arrow piercing each shield.

OOC: Hmm, I misread the gloves, but they're still good.

"I have some ability with woodland lore. It should come in handy, though I've not had the chance to put it into practice much yet." replies Callen fitting his new gloves on.

"I have some knowledge of the wild myself." Mri'Thas says, in a whisper.
OOC: Could a history check reveal some information about this woods? Mri'Thas has a +12 in history if that's of any help

OOC: I'll need a watch order once you have decided where to set up. Traversing the woods will involve a skill challenge, and history will probably be a one use secondary skill.

Riar'lon

Riar'lon nods at Kama'zer, "True, though we're less likely to be seen if we camp away from the road and near the forest."

Riar'lon laughs, "besides, the Feywild is nothing to fear, I've hunted there for years."
