Iirc, the average age here was in the 40s last time it was asked in a survey. There are some users in the 30s and 50s. Very few in the 20s and 60s.

I like the hemp twine ones. Especially since the one I had was saturated with glue, and so was durably rigid and didn't soak water... last I saw it, my eldest had decided it was hers... I was out of state at the time.

I’ve looked into such hats. They range from $50-200, depending on a variety of factors.

I very briefly had a mohawk my freshman year of college. Like, 10 minutes.

I hadn’t managed to find a barber near campus (I had no car), and the high-top fade I got shortly before checking into the dorms was starting to look unruly. So I got out my clippers and started doing some auto-topiary.

When I got to a certain point, I looked at the results. It looked…OK. But I just didn’t have the confidence to wear it outside of the bathroom, so, bzzzzzzzzzt, and it was gone.

Now? Well, I still don’t think I’d have the confidence to rock a mohawk, but time and genetics have decided that issue for me. While I’m not actually bald, I don’t have enough hair down the centerline to make an attempt that wouldn’t be laughable!

I grow my hair out and when I get tired of it I sometimes have fun..."let's try a mohawk". I'm probably a bit too old for it lol but figured why not, I work in creative industries remotely and you only live once.
