The End

Librarian, Geologist, and Referee
Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere but I am having a hard time finding out about the d20 game The End.

What I have been able to gleen is that it is set in a biblical post apocolyptic earth. That there is only one starting class for PCs, the meek, and that it will have some intreaging firearms rules.

Who is making it and where can I find out more?

Thanks gang.

Yeah,

I ordered my copy and I cannot wait. On the publisher forum, they say it will be in stores soon.

I have followed it from the first press release. I loved the Seven Seals countdown (check out the website graphic). I have heard great things about the game. There is also fiction and some other info on the site (www.tyrannygames.com)

I have also ben told that it features an excellent firearm system and a really detailed medical feat system.

BTW, It is a remake of an earlier game, which incidentally was banned from Gen Con.

Ya JimT, I checked out the website and it looks interesting. I want to take a look at the firearms rules. Do we have a release date yet?

I want to be optimistic about it, but the writing on the web site is incredibly poor and leaves me with a cold feeling about the final product. Unfortunate because the concept sounds decent. However I'll check it out at my FLGS if they stock it, and leave the final decision until then.

No problem. I'm all kinds of excited. Unfortunately, I'm also all kinds of broke.
I have the original, and it is an entertaining read except for the rules section, which is never really entertaining for me. Now if someone would just do Rapture The Second Coming.

That really fits the concept, though. I know it's not meant to be, but it seems like it captures the spirit of those really awful and campy religious movies about the end of the world.

fenzer- I thought it would be out this week or next. On the publishers forum, they say they have shipped to distributors...
I ordered my copy direct so I should get it any day.

cbatt- most of the writing on the website is fan submitted fiction, so I would not be concerned.
