The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

OOC: If Nimisgod objects this can be changed, but he said earlier Ishmael would heal whoever.
Sorry for interrupting the flow.
Gorefoot and Rodimus are fully healed. Nars has 5 damage (9 out of 14 hit points). Ishmael has not used his Lay on Hands ability for the current day. I assume no one will object since Nars is the one still injured. If Ishmael wants to use his power for today, I'll leave that up to him.

OoC: Don't we have our natural healing too? Last I checked, riding around does not negate that. That with the Lay on Hands would have us at full hit points by the end of the second day, no?

Isn't that allready being taken into account? (Never mind the metagaming aspect of knowing before the fact that you will have at least two days to heal.) Ishmael, how much lay on hands do you have per day? It's Charisma modifier (2) times Paladin level (2) = 4 points, or am I mistaken?

In any event, for the sake of moving on, we'll go with the healing as has been laid out so far for now.

Please do not read the following:
[sblock]Petal, CR1, 5 hp, +9 init, 60' fly, ac 17, dagger +7 for d2-4, 0' reach, sleep song lullaby dc 14 or 2 or more dc 14+1 per petal above 2 [will], DR 5/cold iron, +2/+7/+2 saves

"Thankyou Sir Ishmael. Your, ah, care for you're comp- compa- friends is admirable." Nars face reddens a bit at that last.

OOC: [SBLOCK] We were injured for a total of 18. At best, we could have gotten 8 from Ishmael and 6 natural (2 each). There is some metagaming in not useing the want, but to minimize metagaming, I assumed Ishmael healed Gorefoot to full as quickly as possible so Gorefoot was already at full and did not get any natural healing the second night. Gorefoot received the 4 healing the first day, 1 from night natural healing, and 2 healing the second day. Rodimus received 2 from healing on the second day and 2 from natural healing (one each night). Nars had received only natural healing so far until Nimisgod's latest post healing him 4. So, everyone is fully healed except Nars who is damaged 1 point. [/SBLOCK]

ooc: Thanks, I am satisfied with that analysis.

Having passed the border of the Faerie Woods about 15 minutes ago, the strange feeling has passed. Those highly sensitive to magic (spallcraft DC 15) can tell you have simply grown accustomed to the strange aura around the woods, and that it still surrounds you. The sound of singing in the distance comes to your attention over the normal birdsong and forest noises. The singing seems to be getting closer, and more than one voice seems to be participating in the melody.

Ishmael smiles at the compliment and gives an amicable nod to Nars. "If only I were able to do more, friend Nars. But alas, the path I once trod is behind me and no longer in reach for one such as I. Once it is abandoned, it is forever beyond redemption"

The halfling pauses, listening to the music that has come upon them. "What is that sound? Is that a Fey song?"

The halfling moves closer, staying in between the source and the party if he can. He is unarmed and unshielded, as well as unsuspecting and curious.

Moving rapidly between the trees, bright flashes of color can be seen that seem to be the origin of the singing. As they get closer, they suddenly stop and hover in mid air. The creature are some sort of tiny fey, with wings that look like flower petals. For a moment, they seem surprised to see you. Then the one in front's face lights up with a mischevious grin.

Ishmael looks up to the fey and gives a friendly smile. The fey remind him of the children in the slums of Orussus that he works hard to protect and support.

"Hello there," He says, dropping his usual manner of speech. "I am Ishmael. What are your names?"

Diplomacy +6

While the funny feeling has passed, Nars has not lost his suspicion of this place. Hearing singing from up ahead, he debates whether to get off the road and hide or stay and see what is coming while showing himself peaceful. While still grappling with the decision, he sees the fey creatures and his mind is made up for him. He does his best to appear non-threatening and lets Percy do the talking.
