The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

I leave it to you to determine what your character would have had in hand. If you feel Nars was sufficiently amped up at the thought of hunting the Redcap that he would have drawn his weapons, so mote it be! :)

OOG: Is the terrain such that Ishmael could be mounted? That is to say, if it is flat and not so forested, he will be atop Courage. Otherwise, he would be on foot.

Not sure exactly where he should be in the party order, but I would assume that he's somewhere in front. He probably isn't holding a weapon but is wielding his shield in his left hand.

OOG2: Spot 1d20-1=15
Initiative: 1d20+3=21

OOG3: Before I post my actions I want to see the map. But if there is no map planned, that's good, too.

Ishmael is unusually perceptive and he reacts quickly to the appearance of the new threat.

OOC: Percy Init: 14+6 =20. Whoops. Should have rolled a spot check first.
Spot check: 18+3=21. Cool.

Percy is probably riding Gwendolyn, perhaps with Gorefoot in front of her. If Nars is walking, though, then Gorefoot probably is too, so we'll assume not.

As fond of Gwendolyn as Percy is, she knows Gwenny is no warhorse. Percy pulls her up sharply at first sight of the redcap, then swings off to dismount(MEA), keeping the horse between her and the fey.

OOC2: Is this a surprise round? So Percy can't also do an attack? If she can use a full action, she'll also bean the little runt with a magic missile.

OOC3: Shall we assume Percy has a scroll of ray of enfeeblement that she has already attempted to decipher by taking 20?

An ammendment to Nars action, if he is unable to flank with a 5 ft step, Nars drinks the potion of cat's grace. He uses his 5ft step to move out of threat range first if necessary.

Ishmael and Persephone are mounted.

The first round is a surprise round.

Persephone did purchase the scroll, and did take the time to decipher it.
