D&D 5E The Fall of Blackmoor (IC)

Kini
Kini will hide in a motorcycle-inaccessible spot, hopefully in deep shadow. If successful, Kini also aims his shortbow at the lead orc, and holds action.

OOC: The orc throttled down his wheeled beast and bellowed, "Hand over your valuables and we might let you live!" Quite articulate for an orc.
OOC:

Jacobin lowers his voice " "Andus, stay at my side and protect me"

Adressing the orc: "Parley! I invoke the right of parley!" Jacobim shouts "We mean no harm, and are only travelers camping for the night"
hopefully this will buy us some time until we know how many they are and what they are capable of he thinks to himself.

Din Din (as Gareth Silvertongue)

Din Din cannot help but look at the orc riding the metallic engine. What a face! Trying to remember every detail so the changeling can use his guise later, he belatedly realizes that they might be in danger from this gang.

Following Jacobim's lead, Din Din tries to appear non-hostile while he lets the noble do the talking. Nevertheless, Din Din reaches subtly for his wand in case he needs it.

OOC: Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check to reach his wand without being noticed by the orc: 1d20+4=12

The orc bellows a laugh that echoes almost as much as his motorized beast.

"Parley? You think, because I can speak in more than two-word sentences, that I am civilized? You think for a moment that I am not a savage that will rip your heart out and eat it? You mean no harm? I do mean harm." He smiles, revealing polished and sharpened tusks and fangs, all gleaming white in the fading light.

He pulls a massive curved blade from a sheath attached to the side of the mechanized monster of a vehicle and points it at Gareth, "Do not think I don't see what you are doing, mage." If he has noticed Ngoya and Kini, he gives no indication.

His warriors are all visible now, though they are all near cover should the need arise. Most are carrying bows and swords, while two carry energy rifles, though these appear to be in ill-repair. His warriors, a half-dozen of them, are a mix of orc, half-orc, and human.

The orc on the motorcyle, his smile still contorting his face, continues, "Your valuables...or your lives. You choose."

Jeremiah

Jeremiah's eyes went wide at the sight of the motorcycle which the Orc was riding. He'd never thought to see a working one. He wondered what fuel was powering it and how it worked. Oh how he'd like to get a good look at it. It didn't seem like the conversation was starting in a way that such an opportunity might be possible though...

Ngoya

From her hiding spot Ngoya searched around for any more foes, worried they may be surrounded.
