Markus sees a man sitting at the bar get up and walk past Constable Garrus, brushing closely by him in the crowded tavern, then exit shortly after the ruffians.
G'Kar rises from his seat and offers a slight bow to Amisi, "Not at the moment, but I am sure we will meet again. Good evening to you." Rhal remains with G'Kar to discuss the position of Ambassador's Aide.
Garrus approaches Felix and Korgon, giving the barbarian a raised eyebrow as his only acknowledgement before addressing Felix, "I need a favor. Lord Clarion's fiance is coming in to port tonight, a few days earlier than anticipated. I need someone I can trust to escort her to Lord Clarion's home in Blue District."
Blue District Docks
Castagyr and Veer, a dragonborn and tiefling, found themselves on the same transport as they approached the Fifth City. It was evening and the city's lights shone like stars, reflected in the ocean's dark waters. Also on the transport is Sakai, a human woman and, apparently, a member of the humans' Explorer's League, a guild of sorts that funds expeditions to various ruins and abandoned islands. Sakai and her group are returning from a trip to the Goblins' former home island, a journey for which they required a dragonborn escort as the dragonborn annexed the island shortly after the Goblin Wars, even though it was nothing but a barren wasteland of cooled lava and ash.
Castagyr had been assigned by the Kha'Ri, the dragonborn leading council, to provide that escort to Sakai and her team. With that duty done, he had been ordered to report to G'Kar, the dragonborn ambassador to the Fifth City, to be assigned as his official aide. During his time with Sakai, he had also learned that she was the fiance of the human ruler of the Fifth City, Lord Clarion.
Veer had a similar assignment to Ambassador Mollari, the tiefling ambassador. Veer had been told to look for Mollari in the taverns and gambling houses, probably either drinking or borrowing money from some poor fool to fuel his gambling habit.
