The Force Unleashed has arrived . . .

Hm, I'm a bit disappointed; Darth Vader's apprentice himself doesn't seem to be listed among the NPCs in the last chapter.

But can you do this in the game?

You can do that with Saga without the need of TFU. Lightsaber's ignore DR. Battlestrike can add +5d6 damage to the Lightsaber's base 2d8. Add in Dark Rage for +6, a good strength on a two handed lightsaber for +4, a critical hit to double damage, Powerful Charge for another +10 and a decent level bonus for another +10.

That comes to (2d8+5d6+30)x2 damage and that's an average of 113 HP (ignoring DR).

How many HP does a leg on one of those things have anyway? Chop it down and *peel* it open...

I love the chapter on Organizations and wish that this had been done for the KOTOR campaign guide. I'm hoping for a web enhancement but if not I'll be making my own if need be.

I wish it came out before I wrote the first few adventures in the KOTOR game I just started!

I wish the whole thing had come out before Dawn of Defiance. I'm think of retconning my Jedi character to be Master Koto's former padawan, who lived through the purge because he was part of his unit, but now believes him to be dead.

Also, I picked up the video game the same day, and I'm playing it right now. It's very nice, very fast paced, even in my primitive, PS2 version.

My wife got me the Wii version. It's a blast. I've already found a bug. I use this to power up my character. Basically you go through a level gaining experience, use that experience to purchase a new power or increase a power you already know. Save the game, then turn off the Wii. Turn the Wii back on and resume your game. It will start you at the beginning of the level instead of where you saved it. You will also have all the powers and points you had after you saved the game. You can get about 70K exp points in the first mission as the apprentice. Play the first mission 3 times trying out new powers and doing different things can net you about 210K points. By the time I finished the first mission I had all powers maximized.

If only in D&D it were so easy to level up.
