The Gods are gone...now what?!?

His name was Philip José Farmer, and he actually came up with the idea several decades ago...he wrote a series of books about it he called Riverworld: one morning, everyone who has ever lived wakes up on the banks of a giant river...in short order, they discover that anyone who dies returns the next morning (somewhere else along that river).

I have no idea if the poster read these books, but as they're considered SF classics it's pretty likely that they'd at least heard of them at some point, and I thought I'd give credit where it's due.

I have to agree with what everyone has said here. If you want a great way of dealing with Deicide, Requiem of a God is the BEST thing for you.
