The Great d20 sell off begins with GRR

This is not an online deal. It's an incentive to retailers in an attempt to liquidate GRR inventory.

Nontheless, where did you get the information from? Did you see it on a website, read in a newsletter, did someone tell you verbally? I think folks here would like to see a reference so they can confirm it themselves.

It's from a flyer from Alliance. It matters not to me whether you believe it or not. Go ask your friendly local gaming store. That should be the proof you need.

I'm not trying to be snarky about this, but really because it is not an online deal - you need to get the deal from a retailer anyway.

OK - maybe I'm being a bit snarky...

Alliance probably wouldn't publish it publicly on their website - it's a distributor. If you would like proof, you should ask your FLGS.

I wouls be more than a little surprised if a retailer passed that amount of savings along to the customer. As it is, there are going to be a lot of retailers in the position of wanting to dump as much 3E stuff as they possibly can, save the ones that still have ten-year-old merchandise on their shelves still marked at the full retail price.

So are those the prices to consumers, or what? I'm confused.

I thought game stores usually already paid for the products they have on shelves? (Unlike say, the book trade, which offers refunds on returned stuff)

Anyway, I hope GRR has a proper web sale from their own store, before dumping all their inventory like that. They could easily get $5-6 for those $2 books online, there's a bunch I want but never bought because I didn't want to pay full price, but even half would be attractive.

According to the original poster, the manufacturer's SUGGESTED retail price is $2. But a retailer could buy them at whatever their discount is and still sell them at full retail price.

How about 75% off on our stuff? ;)
