The Great d20 sell off begins with GRR

Pogre is correct, this is a sale to the game trade. Alliance has announced it to their retail customers but we are offering these same sale prices to all of our distribution accounts. Your FLGS need not deal with Alliance to get these deals; if your FLGS carries our products this deal is available to their distributor. It is on new purchases only, not for existing stock. Some retailers or distributors may opt not to participate (based on their current inventory or other criteria) but the offer is available to them if they wish to take part.

This sale is not being offered to the book trade. Book trade distribution lead times and existing purchasing arrangements can't accommodate this sale, so you will not see the sale prices reflected at Amazon.com or other book chains. Green Ronin is not running this sale through our web store.

Hmm, does Thieves Quarter and Temple Quarter being dropped to $2 mean that Green Ronin won't be interested in selling the 3.5 Arcane Quarter, which is apparently ready to go, like, now?

The d20 Freeport Companion will be our last 3.5 book. Unfortunately, the Arcane Quarter book was long-delayed and had been re-scheduled for print multiple times and the 4e announcement was kind of the nail in the coffin for print options now.

Argh. Any chance it'll see life as a 4E print product, or perhaps as a POD PDF?

WotC needs to figure out what their 4e plan is and let 3rd party publishers see the rules before publishers can make too many plans... I'm sure we'll have a better idea soon.

Fair enough. I hope we see more Quarters from Green Ronin in the future.

Don't forget that the City Quarters series is from the Game Mechanics. They may still release Arcane Quarter as a PDF. GR only handles the print versions.

Strongly recommend that they make it available for print on LuLu. Its the only way I'll get it. I've gotten the others in print, so I'm sure not going to buy something that is PDF only to finish it.

Also suggest to them, that if they do make LuLu an option, that they layout a version that allows for them all to be printed as one book.

My FLGS doesn't stock any Green Ronin products, and their distributor (I don't know who) is pretty ignorant.

When I tried to order a print copy of the True20 rules to go with my PDF version, the distributor told my FLGS "There's no such thing as True20. Its the rules system for Blue Rose. We can send you have the Blue Rose book if you want."

I'm worried that Green Ronin, my FLGS, the distributor and me are all going to miss out on this deal in my area. However, I want a cheap copy of the Black Company so badly that I will try and get some sense out of them. (Its too late for Advanced Bestiary - bought that a few days ago, pretty much at the same time as I bought a load of EnWorld PDFs just before their sale :( )
