Kamen looks at Dewydd
"I talked to Collin and her on Goodmonth 22nd, CY 964. Fought the sphinx on 23rd. I don't know how long I stood here."
He raises hand before anymore questions could be launched. You notice quite a large ring on one of the hands with strange squarish surface without gems or ornament, just plain golden plane.

"Would you please introduce yourselves? And tell me how long was I frozen here?"

OOC: Note that the name is Kamen - a on the end of Kamena Sjena denotes an descriptive erm...adjektive? Something describing the property of an item - so Kamena sjena is "Stone shadow" is equivalent to "Shadow made of stone" - this "made of" is hidden in that "a" at the end of the name

"So that means you came in here around the same time we did, maybe a little before or after. Luckily you weren't stuck in here for too long!" Dewydd replies. "I'm Dewydd Moresby and these are the Bronzeblade brothers - Leonard and Travis." Travis and Leonard nod in greeting.

 

[Neurotic]

"Nice to meet you, Dewydd. Leonard. Travis. Nice strong name there, Bronzeblade."
Kamen nods looking at the rest expectantly.

Kleborn has been watching with great interest, and is impressed as always with his companions who yield magic. He says to Kamen "Greetings, my name is Kleborn. It is a pleasure to meet you." He then says to all, "good thing we stopped where we did, eh"

Thallok addressed Kamen, "My name is Thallok Oakspear. As you can see, I am an orc. I have heard stories of your kind, but never came across one." Noting that Kamen is no threat, and his companions trust level, he adds "Good meeting you."

Nodding to Kleborn and Thallok, Kamen offers "I heard there are trials to be had. Unfortunately, I only managed a short look in some kind of haze. Can you tell me about this place? How can I help? I can hit things, run very fast, hunt in silence, light or dark. I wield the power and elusivity of displacer beasts and wisdom of dragons. I am stone; durability, patience, and weight personified."

Nodding to Kleborn and Thallok, Kamen offers "I heard there are trials to be had. Unfortunately, I only managed a short look in some kind of haze. Can you tell me about this place? How can I help? I can hit things, run very fast, hunt in silence, light or dark. I wield the power and elusivity of displacer beasts and wisdom of dragons. I am stone; durability, patience, and weight personified."

Respen addresses Kamen on the quiet side of normal speech, wanting Kamen’s change in state to be as calm as possible.
“Hello there Kamen. I am called Respen. We are pleased to be in your company.”

OOC: DM NOTE: Sorry it took so long. I tried to draw the map like three separate times; the maze is so complex, it's easy to mess up the tac-map. So I finally decided to use artistic license, and just sort of eyeball it. I made a very simplified version of the map, so that combat would progress more smoothly. For the purposes of this combat, please try to ensure that your character does not move off the edge of the map. I have no wish to draw map extensions, LOL.

After exchanging pleasantries, Tam takes a quick peek around the bend, to see where all of these passages have been leading the party to. You hear a quiet gasp, and then you see Tam, tip-toeing back to the group, looking white as a sheet!

"Hy.... hy.... HYDRA!!" he hoarsely whispers!

GM: From The Module Text: When you finally penetrate the center of the maze, you enter a circular chamber 60 feet in diameter. The ceiling is at least 60 feet overhead. In the center of the room is a two-step dais with a massive chain sunk into an iron ring at its center. Attached to the chain is a massive draconic beast with eleven writhing heads. The wingless creature has steelgray scales and a powerful forked tail. Positioned above the dais is a vertical 10-foot-diameter metal tube extending to the ceiling.

The Hydra has not yet seen the party, although now that Tam is sweating, it might soon smell the lot of you!
