Devinihm, wilden druid

Being dead, Earth simply rips the body out of the chimney and throws him over the roof, towards the group, with a warning, before doing so.

When Earth reaches the chimney Xander calls up to him. "If you could carefully bring the body down here I will examine it and perhaps we can learn more of the monster we face".

Devinihm's body bursts apart into a swarm of flies, their collective buzzing acting as his voice as he rushed forward. "Catch it before it hits and flies apart!" the swarm intones.

The wilden reforms, though he's clearly out of his depth trying to get beneath the hurtled corpse.

[sblock=OOC]I made a wild stab at what the appropriate skill would be, though it's unlikely this result would do much to mitigate the falling damage. I rolled with IC. Do you want us to start using the EN roller instead?:

Athletics check to catch the body. (1d20+5=12)[/sblock]

Illarion moves away from the building on which his companions climb and throw stuff down. He leans on the wall of the nearest building from which he can observe the proceedings while keeping an eye out on the central fountain and as much aleys as possible.

OOC: I dislike new dice engine simply for big panels that make them. If they could be made smaller and in columns (I believe two (attack + dmage) or three (attack + damage + curse/quarry/whatever) would fit without problems.

And there needs to be smaller version for smart phone users...

The Hunted: Day 1, Hour 1, Minute 43

The body sails from the chimney and, despite Devinihm's attempt to catch it, it lands headfirst with a sickening squish and an arm goes flying off into the fountain...

GM: Use whatever dice you want.

"I don't think we will get many clues from that now, I think he was killed by a large fall by the look at things," says Krav looking unimpressed at the corpse and then the warforged. "Shall we go to the tavern where this all started? After someone looks at the corpse to see if there is anything out of the ordinary," continues Krav.

Xander shakes his head in disbelief at Earths action and makes his way over to the body. He inspects it attempting to discern as much as possible from the wounds on the body, both cause of death and what wounds would have been inflicted post-mortem.

Rysethynn jumps out of the way as the body hits the ground in an attempt to avoid being splattered with blood. Then she moves over and gives the body a once over herself, careful not to touch it.

"See anythin' useful there?" she asks Xander when he's done with the examination.

Earth also gets close and takes a look. Perhaps there are some remains of the creature that attacked the man, traces of hair, pieces of claw, something identifiable as not part of the body.

The Hunted: Day 1, Hour 1, Minute 46

The group gathers around the mauled and mush-headed corpse, examining it closely.

[sblock=Xander]You determine that this man was killed via a combination of blunt-force trauma and severe lacerations - something slashed into him with such force it broke bones. Cause of death was probably when it ripped into his heart.[/sblock]

[sblock=Rysethynn]The body is a bloody mess, but when you investigate his clothing, it looks as though there was a secret lining on the inside of his red greatcoat that was ripped out to get whatever was inside...[/sblock]

[sblock=Earth]You examine the body and find a few extremely short silver hairs stuck beneath the fingernails of the dead man. It doesn't seem of human origins, nor of any natural creature you could think of.[/sblock]
