I think saw Emily Chastain swirl her weapons in her hands before putting them in their scabbard. I hate that cheap move that is done to make a character look cool.

Given the way that the trailer plays out I'm figuring that he is raised from childhood to be her "Huntsman", when he has grown to adulthood realizes that she's evil, leaves, then comes back as the leader of a rebellion. That would be the "missed you" thing.

Completely pointless character. They should have gotten rid of him along with the dwarves they threw out.
