I want to clarify, the 36/72 damage from the fireballs is the base damage, regardless of saves, resist, so on and so forth? Hmm guess my SR didnt work. How badly does the scorpion look wounded?(Approximately? Very wounded? Near death? Wounded?)

I guess when I was adding up the attack bonuses I left the weapon focus in. The thing is about the fire, the spear is specially made to transfer the heat made by the salamander's body. I wouldn't try it with a normal spear, because not only would it not conduct heat, it would burn the shaft of the spear.

Question - Yes. You saved, so that gets halved. The only person whose SR was not overcome was Kelteror (which I noted.)

Isida - I don't think Gabriel was within the area of both blasts.

NS - I personally have a bit of conceptual trouble seeing how the bonus damages from heat and flaming are not in any way overlapping with the heat from produce flame. (And this is a conceptual discussion, since RAW produce flame doesn't work in this situation.) I let the former stack, but there's no indication that salamander weapons are made to conduct produce flame. Feel free to alter your spell setup if this changes things for you.
