Cheysuli conjures a corona of Witchfire and sends it hurtling towards the shadowscale suffering from her curse. But the flames sputter and die on its shield and it hisses in what you eventually realise is laughter.

The remaining scale shield desperately lunges at Miranna, making a desperate attempt to wound her before the wounds become to much for it. At the same instant the sling wielding Kobold runs north towards Cheysuli letting the last clay pot on its bandolier fly towards her.

The shadowscale fumbles the strike and turns tail to run. Just as it turns its back both Shayla and Miranna take a swing at it. Shayla misses with her mace, but Miranna runs her longsword through the kobolds back, pushing out of its chest and dropping it without so much as a squeak.

The clay pot shatters against Chey's shoulder spilling burning hot pitch over her shoulder and wrenching a scream from her throat.

With only one foe remaining, Miranna allowed the fury of the combat to get the better of her. She raced off in pursuit of the sling-wielding kobold, intent on chasing it down.

The grey one that you're facing is still very much alive, if you go chasing after the sling kobold then grey scale is going to get an opportunity attack on you (and Mr Bricks loses combat advantage against it).[/sblock]

Brenwar Holyshield
Brenwar grimacing from the wound on his leg approaches one of the remaining kobolds with his shield held low. As he approaches he focuses the wrath of Palladys on it forcing it to fight him or suffer the consequences. Hoping to lure the kobold into a disadvantageous position he acts as if he stumbles in front of it swinging his hammer down as it lunges forward.

As Miranna rushes past the Shadowscale it makes a feeble attempt to hobble her, but misses as its attention is still riveted on the rest of the group moving to surround it. As she strides down the road picking up the pace, Miranna swings her longsword in a mighty overhand chop, staggering the Sling wielder back, a vicious cut on its arm bearing witness to the attacks ferocity.

As Brenwar steps forward and attempts his feint he stumbles over a stone, almost impaling himself on the Shadowscales riposte. Luckily he recovers in time to throw hs shield up and catch the kobolds short sword on the rim.
