Gritting her teeth, Miranna swung her sword through another broad arc, a shimmer of arcane force tracing the path of the cut and expanding outward in a shimmering ring. In the brief respite that followed the momentary flash of power, she took a careful breath and shifted her footing and her stance into placement better suited to this kind of close fighting.

OOC: Sword Burst again, +4 vs. REF against minion 44, skirmisher 63, minion 29, minion 68, skirmisher 97 in order ; for 1d6+4 potential force damage. Then spent AP for Second Wind- so much for resource management. IC is down, so I'l just post numbers for the GM, or I can update later if IC comes back up sometime soon.

XP Totals for Chey, Brenwar, and Miranna:

83*6 (time xp for six full months) + 100 (first fight) + 725*2/6 (second fight) + 575*2/6 (third fight) = 1032

XP Totals for Yishim and Firete:

575*2/6 = 192

So, the first group can start leveling up if they'd like. I wasn't really intending you to level up now, though. I just wanted to give you the xp so that you can create your second characters you lucky sons of... what? Did someone say something?

I think Lord Sess needs to sign off on this. I'm not entirely sure myself, since my character has never been awarded xp again with that noise.[/sblock]
Firstly, I confirm these XP awards. And Yishim and Firete just got magically approved, so they don't miss out on the XP! Yay!

Secondly, of more immediate relevance, I noticed while reviewing Firete's sheet that her virtue of valor gives 4 temp hp (1+Con, not just Con), so Yishim should have 4 temp hp at the moment. :)

Firete draws her sword and quickly rounds on the skirmisher, cursing him for getting away again.

Warsong Strike at Skirmisher 63. IC is still down, so that's +8 normally to my attack roll and the flank with Yishim should give me another 2, so +10. Unless I roll very badly, that'll hit it's mark. Damage is 1d8+5. If it doesn't down him, then anyone who hits him before my next turn gets +2 bonus hp.[/sblock]

As Miranna and Firete cut down the kobolds surrounding him, Yishim sees Chey in trouble. Remembering a Tiefling's fire-born ancestry, he cries Chey, duck!, as he drops a ball of fire just above her head. The flames engulf the kobolds all around.
