The Jade Frontier (DM: Ukingsken, Judge: Lord Sessadore)

[sblock=ooc]

*snicker* Sure...

Ok, so the plan is to just walk through, right? And Shayla's gone back with the kobold?[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]Oh dear :-S a sound that over the many years of RPing i've come to dread; the DM's chuckle to himself. It's somehow even worse than when they do an outright "Bwahahaha!" and look at your character sheets with a glint of evil madness.

I think that's the plan, I'm geared up and ready for combat :p[/sblock]

ooc: You don't see anything out of the ordinary on the outside of the waterfall. On the inside however...

Just behind the waterfall you find a large cave complex. It is lit by the occasional torch sconce. There are a number of kobolds waiting for you, and you see even more darting through the shadows.

Cheysuli Sage

Not caught on the wrong foot; Cheysuli's body posture changes to alert the instant the group enter the cave. Her sharp eyes; honed through years of hunting in the deepest, darkest forest folds, pick out the two most threatening targets skulking in the murky lair.

The deafening sound of the waterfall pounds in her head blocking out all other sound, her lips move seemingly silently as she condemns the nearest kobold to an early grave, before focusing her intent on one of the more battle-ready critters. Chey forges her will into a spear and thrusts it into the mind of the lizard, and forcibly removes her presence from its thoughts.

Satisfied with her opening strike Cheysuli dives off to the side of the cave, she shoots a good-luck smile back to the party as she draws the shadows around herself. But Chey's plans for stealth tactics come to nothing in the face of three more short scaly warriors lying in wait in the side passage with wicked grins and weapons at the ready.
