After feeling the healing energy flow into him, Brenwar steps around the remaining kobold hoping to finish it before help arrives. With a prayer to Palladys his hammer glows with a divine light. With a grunt he brings it down hard on top of the kobold who barely manages to avoid it's head getting caved in.

If we need the extra healing I have two lay on hands, a healing word, and a daily that will let one person spend a surge. I only mention it because it sounds like round two is about to start...

Miranna took a long step, bracketing the single remaining kobold and forcing it to divide its attention between her and Brenwar. Her blade looped around in a sweeping cut, and for the briefest of moments the waterfall seemed to grow even louder behind them.

OOC: Shift to J2, flanking the Skirmisher. Attack with Booming Blade, +7 vs. AC (+9 with CA from flanking)= 29 (CRIT/hit) ; damage 1d8+4= 12 (from crit) ; rolls Roll Lookup . If the Skirmisher is still alive and starts its turn adjacent to Miranna but then moves away, it takes 1d6+2 thunder damage.

OOC 2 (tactics): At this point, we may actually want to pull back before the reinforcements arrive (if we have time), so that they have to follow us back outside. We certainly did a bit of damage to their forces, so they are unlikely to just let us go, and it gives us some breathing room (and if they DO let us go, we can rest for a moment). Failing that, we ought to hold here and make them come to us- with the waterfall at our backs, they can't surround us, even with superior numbers.

[sblock=OOC] Congrats on the critical hit, pathfinder. :D And I agree though you should suggest something like this in-character as our characters do know there may be more enemies. [/sblock]

Cheysuli Sage

Cheysuli lets go a sigh. Though it could not be heard over the waterfall, the look on her face says it all.
She backs off from the inner cave and supports her weight on Firete's shoulder, "By the spirits that was tough!" she mouths at her.
Though eager to replenish her stamina, Chey is wary of the impending second wave and keeps her guard up. With a watchful eye on the nearest tunnel to the inner cavern, she summons a sphere of eldritch flame in her palm; ready to loose it at the first creature to walk out of the shadows.

Move - move to L1 via L2, gaining concealment.
Standard - Readied Action: Eldritch Blast +4 vs Ref at the first creature to enter N6 or N7.[/sblock]
[sblock=Tactics/Healing]I don't know how beneficial it would be for us to leave the cave; they're not going to relent now and we have a limited number of directions that we can be attacked from in here.
If one of those Lay on Hands or Majestic Words could come Chey's way i'd be grateful; i'd rather keep the potion for a more dire situation (like in a couple of rounds!:p)[/sblock]

[sblock=Fragsie]To trigger Shadow Walk you need to end your movement three squares or more away from where you started. L1 and N2 are only two squares apart. However, you could have teleported to a number of squares that were three away from L1 on your last turn, so it's fine this time. Or you can move to a different square if you want.[/sblock]

ooc: Miranna kills the skirmisher and I fail at time management. Sorry all, update tomorrow.

[sblock=OOC] I can only do Majestic Word once per round, sorry, and I've had my turn. BTW, does that mean we can have a short rest between encounters since the update is going to be late? ;)
And I have found by accident my own strategy of combat - darting about and pulling mooks off people who need a break. Not bad, hey?

Firete quickly cleans her sword in the waterfall and wipes it dry on her cloak. But she doesn't sheathe it, keeping both sword and wand ready.
I think we started to miss Shayla's presence about halfway through, she says to Chey. But it looks as if we work well together, given our different abilities. Such ads my being able to pull enemies away from the rest of you.
