He still misses, and for all the positioning tricks I played, the only hobgoblin attack that hit that turn wasn't benefiting from flanking.[/sblock]

Shrinking away from the beetle as it approaches, Firete turns when she hears someone drop to the ground.
Brenwar! She shouts out, and somehow her words have a healing affect on him. She then quickly turns and fends off the attacker next to her.

"You will not last long in this life chasing after fey!" Cheysuli spits at the hobgoblin rushing toward her. Just as he reaches where she stands and brings his weapon up to attack, the warlock crumbles to dirt and grit before his eyes, only to reappear behind him.
She whips round her rod and blasts the conscript with feyrie fire and his burnt body drops to the ground with a hollow thud, as the creature's soul leave his body and rejoins the cycle, Cheysuli once more steps through Arcadia and reappears next to Yishim.

"Chey, Yishim! Kill the big bug!," Miranna snarled. She shifted her stance only slightly, then spun her blade in a wide arc- a ribbon of force trailed along behind the sword. An instant later, she reversed the cut and swung backhanded- this time it was an arc of dancing electricity thattwirled through the air...

"Forget the knight! Kill the healer!" Intent on leading by example, the hobgoblin leader steps past Brenwar and nearly guts Firete with his spear, despite the near blinding flash of light. One of his followers attempts to do the same, but Firete is able to step out of the way of his clumsy swing. He too is punished with a flash of light.

The other hobgoblin is unwilling to break from his preferred target. He rushes around the nearby column in an attempt to cut Miranna off. However, in doing so he manages to get his feet tangled in the chain of his flail, and he ends up nearly tripping himself.

The beetle apparantly is not intelligent enough to follow specific commands. It lobs another gob of acid at Brenwar, but its aim is poor, and the caustic liquid only hits the stone of the floor.

The warchief looks around him, dismay in his eyes. He then grits his teeth and prepares to sell his life dearly.

I forgot to give Chey Virtue of Valor last round. That has been corrected.

Tactical Redeployment fails to recharge. The Warchief shifts to P11 and attacks Firete, hitting AC 27 for 12 damage. The Warchief takes 7 radiant damage from Divine Sanction, and his allies gain +2 to attack and damage rolls against Firete.

Grunt 16 moves around the column and attacks Miranna on the flank. he critically misses.

Grunt 49 attacks Firete, missing for a staggering amount of damage, and taking 7 damage from Sanction. He then shifts to O10.

The beetle attacks Brenwar, missing. Stupid beetle. Round of the freaking century there.[/sblock]

Miranna swung her sword through another wide arc- once again the blade's path was trailed by a shimmer of pure force. Unfortunately her swings cut only air... Frustrated, she stepped away, hopefully pulling the foes away from her wounded companions.

Brenwar still a bit woozy on his feet from his recent trip to la-la land misses as his hammers rips past the warchief's skull. He then steps away knowing that his majestic halo prayer would interrupt the sword mage's spell from punishing the warchief.

Everyone has used their action points by now right? I also think we need to remove this stupid warchief from the field. No point in leaving him staggering around at 9 hp giving all these other mooks buffs and hitting pretty hard.

Also, if I get knocked out this round I totally deserve it. Should of probably second winded but Tymora favors the bold and all that.
