Yeah, I've been preaching 5 seasons to do it justice. It CAN be done in 4, but 5 would be a much more robust story.

The more they stretch out Vox Machina, the longer we wait for Mighty Nein and Bells Hells. If the momentum doesn't stay high, we might not ever get those.

OR...it is so successful that they release another series concurrently! (Okay, that is probably not going to happen. But I can dream!).

Watched the first three episodes of season two last night.

The coordinated four dragon attack on Emon was brutal; the black and green (especially the green) using their breath weapons to kill anyone in the streets with clouds of poison gas and acid rain, the white blasting anyone trying to flee as refugees, and the red unleashing some kind of super breath weapon that penetrated the walls of the castle and filled the entire place with heat hot enough to melt stone was insane (seriously, it started out like traditional fire breath before concentrating into a Godzilla-style beam).
