We are not in initiative: I'm happy keeping the flow of the story without a rigid order/action economy, so long as it makes sense.

Hm. I'll say Thateous can keep his rolls, but Federigo is trying to hold onto two people: it may be easy to get a paw on them but not so easy to stop them from moving.

Nicolo and The Magdalena can roll Acrobatics or Athletics with Advantage to try and break his grip. Fair?

Can I make unarmed attacks while grappled? I'd assume I could headbutt or kick him.

Grappling only makes your movement 0. It does nothing else, so you can make full attacks.
