If you saw someone you cared about get attacked by someone, then disappear in a mote off light, then that same someone grabs you when you are trying to go help the person you care about, would you do much talking?

I was gong to wait to see how the Magdalena reacts to being grappled before doing anything else. I just can't think of anything he would say in character. Nicolo sort of has a one track mind, and right now that is focused on finding and helping Arcata. The dwarf is just an obstacle at this point.

Our Dwarf needs to make an Athletics check with Disadvantage to keep hold of the Magdalena, considering the Monk beating him upside the head.

Also, with Hunter's Mark upon the girl, don't forget you've Advantage to try and find her, disguise and all (considering it's a magical effect).

I think the Mark actually lets her track Arcata down regardless of disguises. She might not recognize Arcata immediately, but the Mark would let her pinpoint her location.

The spell description itself doesn't exactly say that, it's the whole "You have Advantage on Wisdom (Perception/Survival) checks to find [the marked creature]".

For the sake of story though, I've no problem with the expended spell slot just ... legit working that way, where she knows where Arcata is (who is not Arcata at the moment).

For now. Unless Khaless would like some more randomness in a scene that's already heavily affected by crazy dice.

I just want to confirm that in normal combat there won't be a penalty for grappling two people at once since all i need is a free hand. Life goals = have two people pinned at once.
