It solid movie. Even my wife liked it, and she's not fan of either anime or Tolkien. Only thing is, there isn't much re watch appeal in it. Unlike old LOTR cartoon or movie, this one is, in my opinion at least, watch once and forget about it.

I'm not someone with strong feelings about deep Lord of the Rings lore, so I was never going to be one to rush out and see this.

I saw it on HBO Max. I think it was previously on Amazon Prime, but we turned that off a few months ago.

I did like hearing reused (?) Rohirrim themes from The Two Towers in the movie, so there's that.
