Weapon, and Rionus escort Irontusk through the tunnels, where Tam meets up with them. The shoreman makes no move to resist as the four of them march back to the first pier, where Sirrel, Alysina and Krontigard await them.

"Krontigard, my friend, can you run ahead and get a table at The Foaming Mug? I'll meet you there for dinner."

Krontigard looks at the young woman, then at Irontusk, then at the three well-armed individuals guarding him. "An old friend. Ha! I like you, girl! I'll be waiting for ya!"

A few minutes ago, there had been quite the hustle and bustle of laborers, sailors, and dockhands in this area. They have all since vanished in the past few seconds; all of them appear old hands at laying low.

"But I think it will be enough if we can retrieve the book that was stolen as part of the murder--the circle will then be complete. Surely, Tusky my dear, you can tell us more about how to find the book?"

Irontusk glares at her sullenly, obviously unwilling to give up whatever information he currently has.

[sblock=Clarification]Irontusk is not bound, he's just not resisting. If someone wishes to bind him, they'll need to post that they are doing so, and we'll see what happens. :)

I do not allow spellcasters to concentrate on a spell and use a standard action. Diplomacy or intimidation require standard actions. If Alysina wishes to make the roll, she'll gain a +2 circumstance bonus but the illusion will end. If someone else wishes to make the roll, they will gain a +4 circumstance bonus from the illusions. Others can aid whomever makes the rolls , as per the normal rules.

So...who will it be? And will it be Diplomacy or Intimidate? :D[/sblock]

*The ghost lunges at Irontusk, but before it can, Alysina blasts it with spectral energy, causing it to dissipate into a fine mist.*

"As a ghost, I'm afraid it will be back if we do not complete its unfinished business by retrieving the book. I won't be there to protect you then."

[SBLOCK=OOC]That should cover ending the illusion--Does he appear to be Hostile,, then, I guess? If so, Diplomacy won't work anyway, and Intimidate will cause a lasting improvement of his attitude to Unfriendly after a temporary Friendly, so I'll go with the lower +9 to Intimidate rather than +14 to Diplomacy, maybe more from aids. Let me know[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=OOC]You can always use Diplomacy; a hostile attitude is just harder to work around. :)

Feel free to roll whichever you are going to attempt, and as the other PCs decide what to do, their actions will determine any other modifiers. You'll get a +2 for the illusion, so feel free to factor that into your role.[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=OOC]Can everyone else please try to roll Aid Another checks? The DC to Aid is only 10--even with a Cha penalty, it's decently likely that you guys could make it :)[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=OOC]I think Sirrel already rolled an Aid Another for Diplomacy against Irontusk before Aristeas skipped out and rolled a 20 for a 24, which will suffice. That leaves Tam! Note that if Tam fails, we will be under 35 by just 1, so I'll probably AP it since regardless of the d6 roll, that guarantees success.[/SBLOCK]
