Yeah ditto. Have been meaning to overhaul it in a similar way using a fixed proficiency bonus as well, and then playing around with the talents and feats a bit.

It is. Medium Beskar'gaam (Beskar material, +1 to Fort defence, allows him to apply his DR to lightsabrers etc), 2 free upgrade slots.

Derp forgot. KoToR book has the armor template, what books Beskar in again?

Might need an overhaul on Beskar. It's essentially bullet proof or make it a decent buff to damage threshold.

D6 would be easy. +3D or 4D armor with an extra dice vs energy. Throw in cortosis weave underlay and a scatter gun F you Jedi.

Clarification, then. He doesn't fail at anything that he tries to do. He hasn't tried to be a parent yet, just tried to find a place to take him.
He's literally taken his adopted child into gladiatorial death matches, gun fights, slums and worse.

This episode we see him sending the toddler down a narrow service chute and telling him to play with live electrical cables.

Parenting fail.

To be fair, he probably hasnt had the best examples himself growing up.

No need - its reflected in the better stats, and its resistance to Lightsaber damage (and his feats to use it properly).

IMG back when I DMd SWSE I gave all armor DR equal to half its Ref bonus to defence (that stacks with Elite Trooper), but also made Armor proficiency only halve the penalties to Dex skills etc (Light -1, Medium -2 and Heavy -5).

Would it be better if he left him in places he couldn't see him? If he did that, Baby Yoda would probably be caught almost immediately.

As for the service chute, he was trying to fix the ship. Yes, it was bad parenting, but he was desperate, and currently isn't trying to parent Baby Yoda.

The fact he's not trying to parent him is a parenting fail.

And he is trying to parent him. He gives him moral guidance, cares about him, protects him, feeds him etc.

How can you say he is not parenting him? He didnt rescue him from the client for a lark.

He may be trying to temporarily, but not in the long run. He is trying to bring him back to his people, and just helping him along in the long run. Obviously he's going to end up raising him in the long run, but he's trying more right now to protect him and get him to a safe place than be a good father.

Fair enough. For pure cheese Mandalorian Knight with Jensaarai force imbued armor and lightsaber.

But thats not him.

I gave him feats, talents and skills that seem to match his listed abilities (plus leaning into the Mandalorian thing, which he does as well, with Armor specialist talent tree, Mandalorian warrior talent tree, Mandalorian training feat etc).

We've actively seen him provide the moral child guidance on a number of occasions, and as a foundling, he's effectively his surrogate child.

You cant be entrusted to the care and custody of a child on a 24/7 basis for an extended period of time, and not be a parent. You're one whether you like it or not!
