Also, there is nothing special about a Warforged not taking off their armor. That flavor is completely lost once you make it a warforged.
No offense meant, but I think this is more a part of your particular vision of how to implement this wonderful idea, not necessarily something generally true about that idea. Personally, I thought it worked well. We don't need to agree though, and I think we're both fine with that. Thanks again for a very cool idea.

The armored bounty hunter totally works as a warforged. It’s just the idea that the specific “never takes off their armor” mystique of the Mandolorians is lost if you use a creature that isn’t normally walking around in regular clothes, IMO.

There is no mystique, no “why don’t they ever take their helmets off?”

But yeah, a warforged is a great transhuman bounty hunter.

If we wanted to be really granular, Warforged can actually wear armor now, armor that is, in fact, very much a part of them. So they can also 'not take off their armor' in way they couldn't previous to the new book. Not to change anyone's mind, but that was what I had in mind when I suggested it.

Right, but no one expects them to take their armor off. It isn’t mysterious in any way for them to always have their armor on, it’s just the norm.
