The mysteries of the theurge...

What's not balanced is a wizard/psion/cerebremancer. Only 1 mind stat needs to be high, so extra points can go to Con and Dex, and therefore a lot more HP, AC, etc., not to mention almost double the spellpower of a normal wizard or psion...

On the other hand, item creation, spell focus and metamagic feats work for both divine and arcane classes. A Cerebremancer has to buy separately.

IMC we dont have acess to practise spell caster.
I would be a nice feat but given I am ging archmage Im already suffering a severe feat shortage.
A level 15 dwarf only gets 5 feats. So that would mean no metamagic. And if you are going theurge you HAVE to take quicken spell at some point, its the only way to get a good bang for you buck by being able to use up a reasonable number of your spell slots befor the rest of the party is out or resources.

OTOH, Quicken Spell first starts to be interesting at 12th level for the MT, and even then it means only 1st level quickened spells for your precious 5th level slots, which you have available for the first time at this level.

It's probably better to try to get one's hands on a lesser metamagic rod of quicken or two. ;)
