Perhaps we should be glad they don't - they completely ruined The Invisible Man (will tell the story if anyone asks).
Still, you really have to wonder what is going on over there.

It always comes down to politics and that includes office politics.

Towards the end of the third season and through the down time between seasons three and four (of Farscape) there was a change in management at SciFi and the USA Network, both owned by the same parent company. The previous management was more or less given the boot because it was not coming up with enough series (TV version of “Le Femme Nikita,” “Invisible Man,” and “Farscape,” among others, did not count apparently) so new management was brought in.

Part of the agenda of the new management is the endless sets of miniseries (“Dune,” “River of Souls,” “Children of Dune”) along with really cheep series (such as “John Edwards) and various made-for-TV movies.

This being insufficient as a way for the new management to distance itself from the previous management, they go out of their way to create a situation justifies killing “Farscape,” a point of pride for the previous management. The new management moved it without justification, broke up the seasons in odd ways, failed to advertise and failed to show old episodes. Its ratings fell and it “had” be killed, without any chance for TV movies, new episodes or anything similar for, at best, two years.

It always comes down to politics and that includes office politics.

Oh, and, do tell...

I believe something happend to LightPhoenix, since he didn`t tell anything yet - anybody seen him lately?

Ohoh... I smell a conspiracy against us Fantasy / Science Fiction Fans, and Phoenix is the first victim of their campaign to hide the truth...

Wait a sec. How do we know that LP has any inside dirt. I saw nothing in any of his posts to indicate that he does. Or maybe I'm just confused...

Farscape is being shown on Sci Fi Sunday though Thursday at Midnight (eastern time). Thought it was funny they would bring it back as reruns now.

I think it's a shame. They should have been showing these reruns as much as possible. Considering all the crummy programming they normally run on weeknights they could have easily promoted the heck out of the show. That's what they did when it was new: showed reruns all the time to get more viewer interest. :(

I saw where the show was up for more awards too. We will just have to see what kind of ratings tremors the series does, that could end up sort of embarasing for them.

Hey, I didn't see anyone mentioning the fate of the Star Trek TOS back in the 60s. History is a great teacher, alas we don't pay attention
