Its fan made, not official at all. Nearly everything CG you see that's 'new' is completely fan made.

It's like that series of fan-made Episode II trailers that made their way 'round the internet that had the charge scene from "Braveheart" with rotoscoped-in lightsabers.

Yeah, and honestly, you can tell that it isn't official from the quality of the CG. Sure, its GREAT CG, but looking at the Clone's Airspeeders and the way Grievous moves you can tell that its no where near the quality that ILM puts out for these things.

And besides, even the guy who made it has talked about how he got Grievous to move, etc. :)

A fan vid for sure... But a fantastic fan vid! Wonder where they got all the footage? Also love the choral music that was played during the bulk of it... I wonder where that was take from?

The lightsaber fights, etc, were taken from Hyperspace footage and the bluescreens were turned into backgrounds/lightsabers painted in/etc. Some of the footage is actually from the first teaser, while others (The Airspeeder shooting at the Jedi Temple) are just foreground images ripped from Attack of the Clones and against new backgrounds. Anything that's completely new(including the close up space battle shots) are done by the Pixel Magic guys.

They haven't said where the music is from, though.

And the sad part of all this...we the fans, just KNOW too much:p .

In less than 48 hours we will be watching the "real" one...during OC on Fox Thursday at 8:00 est

Probably a gimmick between FOX and Lucasfilm for:

a. Star Wars fans to watch the OC.
b. OC fans to watch Star Wars.
