The perfect weapon(s)?

Except that the character can't create Epic weapons. Also, since DR isn't an issue, there's no need to go higher than +1 unless the foe is very hard to hit, or you really need that extra 4 points of damage (and can't use the energy enchantments for some reason).

+1 Keen, Spell-Storing, Flaming Burst, Shocking Burst Scythe.

Mmm... tasty crits. with magic almonds (by which I mean have the druid cast poison into it.)

Okay then, I'd go with a +5 impact (PsiHB) keen weapon. It is an all-purpose weapon that is not effected by energy resistance (which all creaures tend to possess a measure of.) Also, the extra enhancement bonus to hit is for iterative attacks, not the main attack. I'd rather have all of my attacks hit. Also, impact is multiplied with a crit. (Besides, GMW isn't a good option in our campaigns since Dispel Magic and GDM are common occurances.)

In addition, some monsters and NPCs tend to Sunder, and I'm not subjecting my 98,000 gp weapon to their attacks. ;)

I like both prestige classes, and the rules for the duel.

I will keep you posted on the progress of the play test.

Thanks

Great! Thanks!

+5 Impact and Keen does sound pretty useful, especially in general circumstances where you can't be sure of knowing what you'll fight. I use a Scimitar, so the threat range is pretty good.

Sunder isn't an issue though, as the weapons are free. The character in question creates them as a standard action (see the link to the house rules thread above if you're curious).
