The Pinnacle of your Collection

Tough one. I'd have to say my 1e Deities & Demigods in all its copyright-shmopyright glory, with Cthulhu and Elric included. But my favorite thing about it is that right there next to Lolth, in thick black marker, I calculated the experience points the PCs got for killing her. Got to love middle school.

I have that one too. It'd probably be worth something if I hadn't wrote my name in it...

From where I sit, I can see my:

  1. Dragon magazine collection dating back to issue #44
  2. Original Deities & Demigods and Fiend Folio
  3. A playtest copy of ACE, an unpublished game from a top guy at SJG.

And a bunch of other stuff.

But if I had to just grab one thing, it would be some version of HERO (4th, 5th, or 6th). With that, I can do whatever I want.

My copy of War of the Lance by Margaret Weis Productions. The guys in my group got it for me when it was released at GenCon a few years ago. They also pulled a choice prank on my all while getting the the majority of writers, creators and artists to sign it. It's not the rarest or most expensive item in collection, but it's my most prized.

I've got all five BECMI box sets in quite good condition. That's the game I started playing when I was 12 and these boxes have so much sentimental value it makes me feel like quite a softy.
