The Poet vs Temuro!(STRATEGY) (Creamsteak judging)

Correction on Flags: 0 all!

Not a tough call, as the shield against the edge of the ice should counter teh brutalizing of the tundra... but then again the roar of the barrens would be much affective against the wastelands...

But the pheonix power seems more intense.

1: The sword leaps with the cavern; quells the descent of the reptile!

Seeing himself at the brink of defeat, Temuro once again leaps at the Poet, his sword ready as he seeks a cavern, a hole in the Poets' defenses, trying to prevent the assault of Merak to descend upon him.

OOC: if you don't mind, and since this isn't a style match, I'm going to cut out my poems. I don't have much time to post, and they take a little too long to think up.

(1: The wolf slashes the prairie so it appears above the mire; silences the assailment of the venom!)

The Poet chants something quickly in a long-forgotten tongue. He tosses a small figuring to the ground, where is grows into a large stone wolf. The critter leaps to the attack, silently slashing at the foe.

The Kabuki doll definitely thinks the sword was an excellent choice of moves, and it seems to make good defense of the second series in Merak's attack...

Something seems to daze Temuro for a short time, and he almost makes a move before realizing that Merak had to go first. He whispers "This never happened before...".

(OOC: No problem with the poems, although I do like them.)

OOC: Sorry for tardiness. I no longer seem to be getting emails when somebody posts to this thread.

(5: The shadowy chimera dodges upon the orchard; protects against the onslaught of the club as it shields the assailment of the star!)
Fists of Fury!
(2: The grasshopper shouts over the dungeon; quells the descent of the elements!)

The Poet utters two quick haikus. A chimera leaps out of the shadows as if it had been there all along, waiting. Its dragon head is defending against physical attacks while its goat head wards off anything supernatural. The lion head is then free to go after Temuro.

Inconspicuously concealed in the mane of the lion is a tiny venomous grasshopper. Only if the lion connects will it be able to leap over and sting the Poets opponent.

5: The crane mercilessly burns the fountain; guards against the storm of the wind!

Seeing the chimera storming towards him, Temuro tries to guard against that abomination, while his katana seems to flare up. "Merak is the fountain of the beast..." he whispers as he mercilessly attacks him in a crane stance.

An orange-eyed man with a pair of swords strapped to his back weaves his way through the graveyard. Noticing the fight, he approaches the commotion.

Tso-Nah leans his swords against one of the benches, and sits down to watch the duel.
