The Polymorph Spell - What do you turn into?

Hello Everyone,

If you've read my other thread, you'll understand that I'm preparing an Alienist with a tenuous grip on the reality others perceive.

I'd like to be a little more involved in terms of the Polymorph spell. I've read the "Rules of the Game" articles on polymorphing by Skip Williams on the official D&D site.
However, I figured that you guys might have some good suggestions in terms of getting good mileage out of the spell. What do you turn into and why? Any cool ideas on Polymorphing that you would like to share?

Best Regards

Can't beat turning a fighter into an Annis Hag (mmm...rend) or for true hideousness, turn a Rogue into a Wyvern. Sneak attacking with six attacks and 2D6 Con drain poison is a new level of pain.

I turn into a DM with ulcers when my players break out the monster books and start crunching numbers in ways the designers never accounted for. I hate polymorph, and polymorph any object is even worse.
