The Quest for Popcorn!

The family that games together, as they say. My wife, like several of my players, has taken to Hirst Arts materials with a passion, and we've also been collecting the D&D minis. My kids like them, particularly my 3 year-old son (who has a level of Barbarian)...so much so that he got angry that he couldn't play with the Hirst Arts work. My wife then made a few pieces for him, and another player created some test pieces, which we currently have.

Thus, it came to pass that my son created his first dungeon, in which, according to him: "The Good Guys are going to stop the Bad Guys. They are on a Quest. A Quest for POPCORN!"

3 years-old, and already a DM. Makes my heart swell with pride. :D

And here are the pictures of that adventure:

As you can tell, my son is an 'old-school' DM. There's no working dungeon ecology here, by golly. Rumor has it that Necromancer games is considering it for publication, due to it's 'first edition feel'. :)

Ah, your child gaming, stacks of computer books and D&D. What more does life offer? :D

So, who won the popcorn? And when does "Quest II: The quest for Butter" begin? :)

yanno, I think you should write up the adventure and pass it off to a d20company for publishing.

Who wouldnt want to publish an adventure written by the youngest dm in the world.

In fact, i just had an idea for a great book.

A book filled with 10-15 adventures written by 3-10 year old DM's FOR other kids.

BWAHAH! It will sell millions! errr Thousands....er...ok maybe a few hundred.

Hey! I'm sure that I have that web design book! Is it the one with the ferret on the front cover? I never quite found what the people who design CS book covers smoke. But it (the cover, not the dope) was the inspiration for my epic Assassin Awakened Ferret (death strike DC 52). Just look at the cover and picture it watching you carefully and evilly for 3 rounds before jumping at your throat. :uhoh: Yeah, I know, I should seek therapy.

Your 3-year old son did that? Wow. I can't even remember being 3 years old. But he sounds like a bright person. Did he take the Barbarian level just to get the rage ability (the little munchkin :p)?
