The Retaking of Forgehold - 4E

"Angel, don't be silly, Mira has seen worst. And she has work to do on that trapped armor, continue your good work on the kobold and let Mira do her part of the work."

OOC: Minor action: Inspiring Word for Mira.

Is there any kobold within sight or they are all in the darkness? I don't want to charge a kobold in the dark. Also, note I have Low-Light...

There is a kobold at H10. You could move and charge him. The light will occur on Arden's initiative he is next after you. If you delay, that's fine but the healing word will also need to delay.

I am sorry, I will not be able to generate a gridded map until 10pm or so. I have to go bowling with my wife's family. And I forgot the cable to run maptool off of my ipod. Please continue as aside from trap triggers, the combat is not super tactical.

OOC: Did the Kobold that ran up to Mira, attacked her, and then ran away draw an OA?

With the healing surge from Aelek, Mira goes to 16 hp (from 9 HP), and is no longer bloodied.

"Aelek, now isn't the time for me to be focusing entirely on a trap putting my back to the roomful of kobolds." Mira comments, and pulls the second sun rod from her bag, ignites it, and throws it into the darkness.

(Spendng my full turn to draw, activate and throw the sun rod)

"Seeing Mal's pain, I thought it could be a good idea, but your the trap's expert." He then looks at the other kobold who is waiting for them. "Don't charge him, he is standing near that other armor, he must want to lure us and get us in another trap."

Aelek moves to G8 and put himself in full defence and observes the surrouding to analyze the situation.

Aelek moves up and stands ready to guard against any attackers.

Arden begins to go, and illuminates the full top of the room, revealing 4 kobolds. They look to be regrouping to charge back. They are standing withing 5 squares of each other. (( :area: 2 targets them cleanly.))

Having revealed the threatening reptiles, Arden hesitates for a mere instant, than he releases two globes of cold energy at the nearest ones.

OOC: Arden aims ray of frost at the nearest kobold 21 vs for, 5 cold damage + slow; then he spends his action point to shoot a chill strike at the second nearest kobold 22 vs for, 16 cold dmg + daze. I'm pretty sure I hit both , so the nearest one is slowed, while the second nearest is is dazed (grants combat advantage). Gene, since i don't know their positions i'll leave the exact targeting to you.

I decided to keep my daily for later, hope i won't regret it. Guys,if i made a mistake i'll say sorry, but with two kobolds out of the fight for one round I think we can handle this.

Ok, now I'm confused - did we actually rest and recover after the last combat?

If we did, and the Kobolds are in a spot that has them all within a 5x5 grid, and Telsayn can get to a spot with a charge (move 8) that would have them within his 5x5 breath, he'll do that.

Con v.s. Reflex, breath weapon. (1d20+4=7, 1d20+4=11, 1d20+4=11, 1d20+4=16)
(Goofed on the damage roll, just take the first result)
Damage roll (1d6+2=7, 1d6+2=7, 1d6+2=3, 1d6+2=8)

If we didn't, then he charges the nearest Kobold if he can reach him with a charge (move 8), or a standard move (move 6) preferentially if he can get there. With a minor action he uses his Divine Challenge (Target takes a -2 to hit and 7hp of damage if he makes an attack that doesn't include Telsayn as a target) then follows that up with an Enfeebling Strike:

Enfeebling strike (1d20+6=23, 1d8+4=11)

(In either case, if he can get himself in position with a standard move (6), he'll do that instead of charging)
