as I move into the last few chapters ( Thay and Tower ), I am conscious that I need to plan the finale. I know that what is published is very poor in my opinion...
What I have so far is
So with that in mind what have other people done for their finale's that differ from what is published?

What I have so far is
- The Allies fight the cult in the lands surrounding the Well of Dragons, this is narrative and doesn't involve the PCs directly
- Some smaller groups ( 3 bands of adventurers ) are dispatched as separate strike teams
- Silence the Draakhorn
- Free the prisoners
- Stop the Ritual - this is the one the PCs will be tasked with
- Each of the strike teams enter the Well of dragons via a different entrance - this cuts down on how long I need to have the PCs in the complex
- Using Dungeon Magazine 175 - Last Breath of the Dragon Queen module change the final encounter to a raised platform rather than a fight in the chapel
So with that in mind what have other people done for their finale's that differ from what is published?
