The Strength of Lances

A lance, being a two-handed weapon, gains both the 1.5x Str bonus to damage AND you gain the 2:1 Power Attack, even while wielding it in one hand?

I can feel a war dog mounted small paladin coming on.......

Nice. My human paladin is going to wait for a griffon. The small paladin has an advantage in being mounted more often, but somehow being three-feet tall didn't feel right to me.

What would you be house-ruling, Pielorinho? The lance hardly seems overpowered with the ability to be wielded with one hand (and gain 2-handed bennies) while mounted. Are mounted knights so powerful that they need to be brought down a peg?

I imagine the houserule would be to institute the FAQ, at least for me it is.
