When and how are you getting a hold of the orb? land air or sea?
Brigit became uncomfortable with this line of questioning. "Well, as I said, I should have it in about a week. And I'd rather not say how just yet, not without a deal to get rid of it. I need it to get out of this city, but once I have it, it's like a hot potato. You understand."

How can we help secure it and your payment if we don't know where it is? And why would someone murder Archer if he didn't have possession of it? Is there anything you can tell us of value to ask Fatwon before our meeting with him?, Ryland asked, toning ddown his questions.

OOC I'd like to do a sense motive check. She seems like a liar to me.

Perhaps Brigit thought Ryland dense; if she did, she hid it well. "I don't need your help with the orb, well, if it turns out that I do, I'll certainly let you know. But if you could get me a fair deal for it, that would be worth everything to me."

Her eyes dropped at the mention of Furlong Archer. "I'm sorry. I don't know what happened to your friend. I think that Flodal must be involved somehow, or must have been before he was killed."

A flash of anger crossed Brigit's face. "Just remember that he's a murderer and a thief", she spat, "and don't believe everything he tells you."

OoC: Ryland believes that Brigit is finally starting to level with him.

"If you're so intent on selling the orb, we'll help. What would you consider a fair price for it?"
Brigid gave a little snort. "Three times whatever Brimbor offered you for it", she said with contempt, "Although we'll probably have to settle for double."

Anyone else besides kamdar and Jobe who want to buy it. Competition always drives up the price.
Brigit shrugged. "I don't care who you sell it too", she declared, "so long as I'm rid of it and I have enough money to get out of here."

Unless you have something else you want to tell us [pregnant pause], I think we should keep our next appointment.

Ryland will leave for Fatwon's as soon as Devlin is ready.

Devlin stands up. "Ryland's right. The sooner we meet with Kamdar the sooner we may get this situation resolved, to everyone's satisfaction. Brigit, I suggest you stick around Eppy, and try to recover that orb as soon as possible. If you need our help to get it, all you need to do is ask."
