The Stuff of Dreams (Orsal Judging)

Damn, I knew Devlin had been at this longer than me, but that's some serious coin, Ryland thinks to himself, quietly following along with the transaction.

"Same time tomorrow? Mr. Spont, I believe we have an agreement. Let us have a drink to seal the deal." Devlin smiles and orders another round.

Once the drinks are finished, Devlin and Ryland will make their exit, unless Bellam does or says anything else.

Bellam drinks to "swimmin' with bowlegged women", and bids you farewell.

OoC: And now?

As they exit the inn and return to the streets Devlin takes a look around. "Perhaps we should go check on Brigit, see what she's gotten herself up to."

ooc: Spot check for any sign of Jobe, Kamdar or anyone else paying special attention to us, 14.

Devlin and Ryland strolled through the streets back to the Clerk District, happy to leave the seedy dock area behind. Devlin glanced around nervously, fearful of spotting a tail, but had no luck in doing so. Perhaps Kamdar and his smaller partner were satisfied with the arrangements that had been made, who could know?

Ryland found the door at the top of the stairs locked, and gave Eppy's special knock that he had heard Devlin use before. Eppy opened the door and welcomed them in, asking if they needed anything from her. She mentioned that someone from the City Watch had stopped by looking for them, not that Officer Vagan, but someone else. Of course, she had mentioned that she didn't know of their whereabouts.

Ryland follows, interested in what she has to say.

vOOC: I'll be headed on vacation 12/18-1/1 NPC my character as appropriate.

Deciding that their continued presence in "their" offices risked an unwanted visit to a Watch Station, Ryland and Devlin set off in pursuit of Brigit. Given her record of unreliability, Devlin only half expected to find her at the Coronet, and was pleasantly surprised to find her there. She was staying at her old room, and welcomed them inside. "How have you been?", she asked. "Is eveything going well? You still have the orb, don't you?"

Devlin flashes his now-familiar grin. "Everything is coming together swimmingly, my dear. I do believe that you will be quit of those to by the end of the day tomorrow. Nobody has tried to contact you here, have they?"

Dungannon said:

It was hard to tell if the question increased Brigit's anxiety or her relief. "No", she replied. "You're the only two who've been here today."
