The Thousandfold Thought rocks!

First Post
I finally finished Scott Bakker's trilogy, and I have to say....the finale of the third book was incredible. Some of the best sequences I've read in a long time.

Is there any word on whether there are going to be other books?

Drusus Achaimian really came into his own. He's one of the coolest characters in it.

The plan is that there will be 8 books connected. The Prince of Nothing trilogy is done. Next up is the Aspect-Emperor which is slated to be part od a duology. After that there is going to be another trilogy. At least I think thats what the plan is.

Last word I heard was that Bakker was currently working on the Aspect-Emperor
Check out the Three-seas forum for info too.

Akka did indeed kick some ass, in this book.

A role playing game based on the setting would be cool.

Of course, the Schoolmen would be very powerful. They seem more powerful than regular D&D wizards, but with a *huge* achilles heel. Just get touched by Chorae and you're dead. And anyone holding Chorae has complete invulnerability to anything you can do.

Minor Thousandfold Thought Spoilers...

Yeah, tTT does rock and Akka FINALLY grows some big cojones. I thought Kelhus got a little too powerful too quickly at the end, but still, Bakker can write some cool sorcery battles. The way he distinguishes between the various styles of sorcery is just amazing.
