Ferrix, post what you have so we can get started. I want to have the first IC stuff ready this weekend, and I can't do it without having your character's stats and such. I'm not as worried about equipment at this point.

Alrighty, was going to ask if you wanted it just posted in the RG or e-mailed to you, but guess I'll just post what I have.

Also, I'll be back in Montreal at my own computer starting tomorrow sometime, so I'll be able to view the map and what not.

Heh, cool. Where abouts in Montreal are you located? I live on the border of NDG and Hampstead. :D

Jacoby: Int 10, Wis 11, Chr 10
Clare: Int 15, Wis 16, Cha 14
Misha: Int 10, Wis 12, Cha 16
Ralan: Int 12, Wis 14, Cha 15
Shuelsai: Int 14, Wis 14, Cha 13
Sharma: Int 14, Wis 12, Cha 16

Wow... Looking over the characters, it's becomes clear that Jacoby is the dumbest, ugliest and most foolish member of our future party. I guess that's why they call farmers "commoners". :o

I'll just call you guys "the pretty people".

One more thing, Ferrix. It's OK to follow more than one Divine Power, but I need to know which one is the 'main one'. The reason for this will become clear later, but everyone needs to have one and only one main patron.

Though the group will be serving more than one Divine Power during the course of the game, it's important on an individual level that each of you act as much as possible in accordance with the views of your patron. How well you serve your patron is going to have an effect down the line. I am happy to outline the views of each of your individual patrons if that would help, and you can certainly change your patron before the game begins if you wish.

I hadn't realized this. Which power would simple farmers usually follow in Mitea?

Hmm... I would say probably Talisid, Bharrai... maybe Manath and Vhara in certain circles. You can pay lip service to multiple powers, but for the purposes of this game, you need to choose one as your main patron.

Hmm. Vhara, as Duchess of fields and with her interest in protection sounds like a likely candidate for a general feminine earth-mother/fertility goddess; which is generally what rural folk are concerned with AFAIK. Just my take on it though. I don't know how common worship of the Platinum Dragon is (though I suspect it would be a rather fringe religion) so Jacoby would probably tend to seek solace in the familiar worship of his childhood, at least until he learns more about the strange platinum star (Bahamut's holy symbol) sown onto the pennon he carries. What do you think?

Ok guys, for joined backgrounds, how about we give our own backgrounds in a nutshell and we can go from there?

Silence was lost in the wilderness as a child, and heard the voices of angels that led her home. This inspired her to becomes a priest. She believes if she stays silent she will be able to hear the angels again. Now she journeys healing people and smiting evil to help advance the cause of good.

I wouldn't mind doing this, but I believe Insight has in own plan for connecting our characters together once the campaign starts.
