I tried emailing mine again...hope you got it this time...I lost the original document (I think I forgot to click save on my word document lol) so my items aren't there but i'll try to get them to you tonight or tomorrow, I hope that's alright..

I wanted to get this game started by now but a lot of stuff is set up for Mardel. I've also been trying to add stuff for the new players but I don't have enough information about them yet.

I'm sorry to say this, but there are more productive things I could be doing, and if I cannot get more player cooperation then I'll have to stop this adv. before it starts.

My apolozies to those who were interested and did what was asked of them.
I know free time isn't always available but if I don't get anything in my mailbox by Friday 10th 11:59pm CST(or post at least), this thread is dead.

Ugh..I guess this game was a bad idea...and if anyone gets angry at me, I CAN understand why. Sorry, for the let down...

Due to Mardel quitting, I need to change some things.
Adventure should start in a week maybe more / maybe less.
 


Okay, I worked all weekend and I woke up sick today, but I want to keep things moving.

Darkwolf, Sollir, and Illuminae have an additional 2000gp each. I asked Kaboom to upgrade one of his weapons +1 at no gp cost.

Players roll.

Skills:
PC: Bernlin goes over to the rotting old chest and searches for anything of value.
12(Roll)+8(Ranks, Bonuses for items, Racial Bonuses, etc)=20(Total)

Combat:
PC: With blade drawn, Bernlin runs toward the dark figure. Bernlin swings with all his might.
Charge
6(Attack Bonus)+15(Roll)+2(Any extra effects, in this case just charge)=23 to hit
If hit 6(base weapon damage)+2 weap(It is a +2 lonsword)+5fire(flaming)+0(anything else)=13

Magic:
PC: Always avoidant of direct conflict(umm.. not really), Bernlin steps back to D4(I’ll try to make grids when necessary) and calls forth the dark powers of the weave. He points at the heavily armored paladin “I shall crush you.”
Negative Energy Ray
Ranged Touch Attack: 25 to hit
Effect: negative 2 lvls to paladin
DC: 19(10+1(spell lvl)+8(Int mod), not that it matters because there is no saving throw)
SR: 30(14caster lvl + 16roll)

I’m not too familiar with psionics but they should be handled the same way where possible.
 

A day has past since the original party split ways. Bernlin is preparing for another venture and needs a new group. The Draxis Guild/Temple has committed one of its newest members, Vorgoth, to aid him. Bernlin has returned to Trenton to see what’s available.

You’ve all just achieved a higher level of skill and have decided to test it. From what you’ve heard, Trenton is the place to go. The coliseum offers a safe environment to practice with your new powers. The fights tend to be dangerous if not deadly but there are several clerics that can heal and resurrect and winning is profitable and prestigious. Trenton also offers several jobs and assignments because people realize if they need a hero, lackey, or traveling companions; Trenton is the place to look. Several adventurers are always passing through town.

As you pass through the front gates, you notice a large wooden pedestal with a map carved into it.

There is a soldier standing near the pedestal slowly grinding his sword’s tip into the ground. The guard looks up as you approach, “Can I help you traveler?” (You each see the soldier and get asked the same question although you are all arriving at different times)

DW, the last email I got from you was blank.
All characters are approved.

Talea approaches the guard.

'Greetings, fair guard of this lovely town."

Talea pulls back the hood of her cloak revealing her elven features

"I understand that your town is a haven for adventurers. Do adventurers all meet up in the inn, like normal, or is there a common meetingplace elsewhere?"
 

The bored guard quickly brightens..."Indeed, noble elf the Sword and Cross is a good place to look for adventurers; however, at current time most are here only for solo competitions at the coliseum. The Open Arms,on the other hand, is no longer a suitable establishment for one such as yourself. A foul gnome wizard and several rogues have overrun the place."
"I'd much like to run them out of town but ...".
He stops suddenly. His facial features show annoyance and embarrassment(an odd combination), but it fades and he speaks once more.
"The Open Arms is not a safe place. I suggest you avoid it."
He seems genuinely concerned for your safety.

"Do you have another question noble one?"

The guard speaks in elven. His half-elf features are faint but become clearer as Talea listens.
