The Warlock, what a great assasin!!

Legend
Taking another look at the warlock, I just realized how good the pregen character could serve as an assasin.

Shadow walk means that you could just walk down a hallway and hide in plain sight (this kind of warlock would likely take skill training: stealth). Then once he found his target, he could use eyebite to attack and remain invisible. He gets a +1 on the roll due to his prime shot. And if he does miss he can simply move again to return to the shadows.

Its a cool idea, but I'm not sure it will work. It wouldn't have worked in 3e, because magical cover or concealment didn't count as "real" cover or concealment for the purposes of hide checks.

Seems unlikely that you can attack and hide in the same round, you certainly couldn't do it in 3e unless you created a distraction or something.

The real problem though is that the eyebite thing might take awhile to kill the target and the target can just call for the guards.

While the guards are coming, the warlock moves back into the shadows, no?

Well other then the fact that you can't normally hide while being observed, it's only a matter of time until the warlock is found if the guards are actively searching for him.
