The Whip -- Any use at all?

What about those special types (mighty and dagger, is it?) that I've heard mentioned? I don't have many books, and I haven't seen stats for them.

Sword & Fist has three new whips:

- whip dagger (no hindrances, deals normal damage)
- mighty whip (just like a mighty bow, deals subdual damage)
- mighty whip dagger (as above, only like a whip dagger)

Taking Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Whip also grants you proficiency in all three whip variants.

Masters of the Wild has two whip variants:

- nagaika (deals normal damage, with a higher crit and narrower threat range than the whip dagger)
- mighty nagaika (as above, only mighty)

That's all I can think of at the moment.

The whip really should be considered large for purposes of disarming. Sort of the way the Purple Worm is considered Gargantuan. Not tall big, but long big.

Nice house rule. I'll try it the next time my bard player will want to play with his whip.

Can't say that my PC had problems disarming enemies with his whip. Honestly, he prefered to aim at the one handed weapons...
