The "who would win" to end all "who would wins"

Hmmm.......

- - - Earth wins - - -

Why?

Stormtrooper : Probably the least dangerous of the four. Although, he does have a few pretty impressive abilities. He can dodge projectiles aimed at his head by casually just tilting his head to one side and he can sneak up on you despite the fact that he's wearing all white. (Or is that an ability only available in Biker Scouts? - - I'll assume Stormtroopers are equally able) But in the end, it isn't enough to go up against the other three.

Superman is too strong and too fast for the Stormtrooper. Sauron would swat him like a fly, both physically and mentally. And Earth....it isn't just some inanimate rock in space....it includes these parasites that live on her called "humans". Although these apes individually pose no threat to any of the candidates, as a whole they are dangerous and perhaps the most ruthless.

Superman : Sure he's invulnerable, flys super fast, lifts 747's with ease, etc, etc......but Kryptonite kills him. He'd win if Earth wasn't in the equation. But, as "Smallville" tells us....Kryptonite is EVERYWHERE. So, readily available to make many weapons out of it and kill Superman. Plus, its easy to find him while he's thinking he's safe. CIA may miss the obvious sometimes, but I'm sure they'll see through the glasses and know Kent is Superman. One or two Kyptonite sniper rounds later....dead Superman. :)

Sauron : Perhaps the most threatning to Earth. He can stay hidden in the shadows and manipulate society. Create secret shadow governments. And he's got plenty of time on his hand to slowly turn Earth to his rule.

However, we know he occasionally likes to be in the forefront of battle. This is one of his weaknesses. If Isildur can make a last second desperate flail and cut off his ring by accident.....I'm sure an army of soldiers can shoot at Sauron long enough till enough bits of him fall off ......a bit with the ring on it. After that...its off to a Volcano. Oh...no need to worry about Fell Beasts this time. We have plenty of military air superiority to bypass them.

Well, even if Sauron never reveals himself out in the open....his scheming in the shadows wouldn't work either. Powerful as he may be, the Illuminati wouldn't appreciate none too much another shadow government trying to get in on their territory. And no one beats the Illuminati. :)

Earth wins!

I'm gonna go with the outside shot of the 3E winning instead.
The 3E already lost in real life, hence 3.5 Or, as I like to call it, the Wally West of game systems.

And the one thing everyone seems to be harping on about Sauron, that you just need to fling his ring in a volcano, doesn't seem to hold water. Kilauea or Vesuvius won't do, it's gotta be Mt. Doom. So unless this fight happens in Middle Earth, it's not going to be that easy.

Well, in that case . . . Sauron wins. Because he can wait till he gets his ring again.

But.... is it really a victory? If he's going up against Earth (my choice for champion), the humans would fling his ring into a volcano. But in their ignorance, it isn't destroyed. Because its not Mt. Doom. However, it will stay in that volcano until that place cools. Then someone has to accidently unearth the ring from that spot for it to make it's way back to the world of men....and Sauron himself.

He may be in for a long wait. Most of Sauron's defence is the fact that he only needs to wait before the fate of the ring brings him back into power again. That's a long time to be out of the game. Being out the game is almost nearly as bad as losing it.

What good is him having the ring if he's ruling Earth in the year 89,780? By then, it may be a barren rock, with no living things on it, no precious minerals , nothing. By technicality, it may be a victory, but its not a very good one.

I still say Earth even though Sauron could wait Earth out indefinitely.

Sauron. The Stormtrooper wouldn't survive Superman, nor would the Earth. However, the One Ring would easily rot away at Superman's core, giving Sauron the most powerful servant ever.

Sauron.

Woah woah woah! Sauron? He isn't ON the banner...the RING is. So the RING would win by tempting Superman and turning him to create an uber-Death Star that eats kittens to destroy the Earth and the stormtrooper will be used as fuel.

Corrupted Superman's Deathstar is fueld by both Stormtroopers and kittens?
 That's a demanding fuel source. But probably very efficient considering it destroys planets.

So they're all pretty cool. In the end, I'll have to go with the Stormtrooper, as long as he doens't have to walk through any doorways, or else he'll bonk his head like in A New Hope...

Or shoot at anything, oh wait there goes any chance he had...

ANyway, which Superman are we talking here, he's changed power levels over the years after all. Also does Sauron have the ring or is he still looking for it? Finally what are they trying to win? Dominance of the world of man or just a big brawl?

If it's dominance of the world of men, then it's Sauron all the way. He's got the ability to get just about anyone to join his side, which makes it hard to win when half the world is working for one guy.

If it's a big battle royale then it's Superman all the way, even if it's one of the weaker versions. The Earth just floats around the sun endlessly spinning on it's axis, not much of a challenge there. Stormtroopers can't hit the broadside of a barn from five feet away (they have worse aim than Greedo). That leaves just Supes and Sauron, and since Sauron could beat a pansy elf and a couple of pathetic humans, I don't see how he could defeat Superman who is pretty much a god on Earth.

Goku. Goku always wins. Goku wins even if he was not one of the original contestants. That is an example of how powerful Goku is.
I have to second Goku. It doesn't matter if the man is even alive when he fights, he still wins.
